Prayer for the Bereaved and Sick
We come before You today with hearts that are heavy, lifting up those who are walking through the darkest valleys of sickness and bereavement. Lord, You are the ultimate Healer and the Prince of Peace, and we ask that Your presence be felt tangibly right now.
Lord, we ask that You wrap Your loving arms around those who are mourning the loss of a loved one. The pain of grief can feel overwhelming, but Your Word promises that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit.
Bring them a peace that surpasses all human understanding.
Comfort them in the quiet moments when the silence feels too loud.
Give them the strength to face each new day, and let them find solace in the beautiful memories of those they have lost.
May condolence goes out to Sis Rudd, Deacon Williams and other members who has lost a loved one.
For the sick, we pray for Your divine healing touch to restore them to full health.
Guide the hands and minds of the doctors, nurses, and caregivers looking after them.
Grant them patience, courage, and an unshakeable faith as they endure this trial, reminding them that their strength comes from You.
To Sis Willis brother Billy, Sis Gibson brother James and brother-in-law Willie and to others that I have not mention.
