Sunday, August 16, 2026, lesson title “Saul Of Tarsus: How A Pharisee Became A Christian”. Background Scripture: Acts 22:3-15. Printed Passages: Acts 22:3-15. Devotional Reading: Psalm 86:1-10.
.
Keep in Mind: “And he said, The God of our fathers hath chosen thee, that thou shouldest know his will, and see that Just One, and shouldest hear the voice of his mouth. 15 For thou shalt be his witness unto all men of what thou hast seen and heard.” (Acts 22:14-15, KJV)
Unifying Lesson Principle: It’s sometimes difficult to believe that change in a person is authentic. What convinces us of the authenticity of the changes a person claims to have made? Paul testified to his faith in Christ to convince Christians that he had truly repented of his former convictions and violent actions against believers.
By the end of this lesson, you will be able to 1. Retell Paul’s call and commissioning story comparing and contrasting to your own story of conversion and discipleship. 2. Celebrate the witnesses for Christ who have encouraged your own walk with Christ. and 3. Develop ways of witnessing for Christ so that others are encouraged to serve.
