Keep in Mind: “My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions’ mouths, that they have not hurt me: and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.” (Daniel 6:22 KJV).

Consider ways that their church might witness for God faithfully, especially in seemingly hopeless circumstances.

By the end of this lesson, you will 1. Explore the tension between God’s creative power and human trust. 2. Perceive the relationship between renewing our trust in God while waiting for God to act. and 3. Model trust and patience in God’s timing.

Keep in Mind: “Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith.” (Romans 12:6a KJV).

By the end of this lesson, you will 1. Evaluate a life of faith versus conformity to the world. 2. Value the gifts that God gives which invite transformation. and 3. Identify a spiritual gift and consider one tangible expression of using that gift in service to God.

Keep in Mind: “And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Juda, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper..” (2 Chronicles 20:20c KJV).
