Keep in Mind: “And hearken thou to the supplication of thy servant, and of thy people, Israel, when they shall pray toward this place, and hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place; and when thou hearest, forgive ” (1 Kings 8:30, KJV).

AIM FOR CHANGE
By the end of this lesson, ANALYZE the importance of a national temple for Israel, EXPRESS gratitude for God’s faithfulness in covenant relationships, and EMBRACE a worshipful lifestyle in light of God”s continuing goodness.

Wednesday, January 8, 2020, lesson title “Solomon’s Speech “. Bible Background 1 Kings 8:14-21, 2 Chronicles 6. Printed Text 1 Kings 8:14-21. Devotional Reading Psalm 132:1-5,11-18. Keep in Mind: “And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, which spake with his mouth unto David my father, and hath with his hand fulfilled it, saying ” (1 Kings 8:15, KJV).

AIM FOR CHANGE
By the end of this lesson, EXAMINE how Solomon’s building of the Temple fulfills a promise God made to Solomon’s father, David;; APPRECIATE that God keeps promises, even if the fulfillment takes any years; and REJOICE wholeheartedly when God’s promises come to pass.
