Keep in Mind: “What prayer and supplication soever be made by any man, or by all thy people Israel, which shall know every man the plague of his own hears, and spread forth his hands toward this bouse: Then hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and forgive, and do and give to every man according to his ways, whose heart thou knowest; (for thou, even thou only, knowest the hearts of all the children of men;).” (1 Kings 8:38-39a KJV).

By the end of this lesson, you will 1. Analyze the structure and movement of Solomon’s prayer at the Temple dedication. 2. Find confidence in God’s presence in favorable and unfavorable life circumstances. and 3. Identify a past time of God’s faithfulness as an assurance of God’s continuing favor.
