Keep in Mind: “And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go begore the face of the Lord to prepare his ways; To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins.” (Luke 1:76-77:1 KJV).
By the end of this lesson, you will 1. Understand Luke’s intent to ground the Gospel in the covenant with David and in the Jerusalem Temple. 2. Desire to do for others like John the Baptist did-prepare the way for Christ. and 3. Celebrate fearlessly the joy expressed in Zechariah’s song poetically or musically.
