Keep in Mind: “But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost. Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.” (Jude 20-21 KJV).

Keep in Mind: “For the vision is you for an appointed time, but at die end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” (Habakkuk 2:3 KJV).

By the end of this lesson, you will 1. Critique the historical circumstances that resulted in the prophet’s question and the Lord’s response. 2. Appreciate the benefits of waiting on God’s time. and 3. Identify barriers to their patience when God’s response to prayer is not immediate.

Keep in Mind: “My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions’ mouths, that they have not hurt me: and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.” (Daniel 6:22 KJV).

By the end of this lesson, you will 1. Analyze Daniel’s personal conviction of faith in God amid injustice, 2. Prayerfully raise awareness of God’s power and favor in times of difficulty, and 3. Create opportunities (or increase the effectiveness of existing opportunities) to stand together against injustice.
